Palo Santo wood, (also called Holy Wood, Magic Wood or Shaman Wood), is a sustainably harvested wood from South America that has been used for centuries to cleanse and sooth both body & mind.
A member of the citrus family and related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal, Palo Santo brings sweet smells with hints of spice, vanilla, anise & mint. Burning Palo Santo is known for its energetically cleansing properties and is enjoyed for its spiritual healing properties, much like sage & cedar.
Burned as often as needed, one stick lasts a long time. It is traditionally used for enabling spiritual peace and calming the nervous system.
Palo Santo is sustainably harvested and regulated, therefore it is a 100% natural and sustainable resource. Wood may only be collected and harvested from fallen branches that have been let to age for 4-10 years before collecting.
